Mr. and Mrs. O'Neal - Ponce Lighthouse, Ponce Inlet, FL

I've known Christie since high school and when I heard she was getting married I squealed a little.  I met her hubby during our Christmas time mini session where the two also announced they were expecting!  The two were absolutely perfect together, constantly laughing, holding hands and smiling.   When she set her date I was super bummed to find out I couldn't make it, due to another wedding,  but at the same time excited that Amanda would be able to shoot the event.    The two were married in a beautiful, yet simple ceremony at the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse.  Surrounded by family the two took their vows and devoted the rest of their lives to eachother. While I wasn't there in person, I've been able to relive her big day through all of Amanda's beautiful photos.  Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. O'neal,  I wish you all the happiness in the world!!

Mr. and Mrs. Allen - The Delamater House, NSB, FL

Whitney is the kinda gal whose smile brightens up a room. She's gorgeous and a total ham. Also, I found out later, a pretty competitive flip cup player.  From the minute I met her I wanted to photograph her wedding.  Then I found out she worked at my local bank which I absolutely adore (go Bank of America!)  and I was like..that's small town living' for ya!

So then I met Justin, the total male counterpart to Whitney.  Now, before I met Justin I was told he hates photos and was so not going to be into the photo portion of all of this.  When I met him, I understood why.  Justin likes to keep going, and having fun.  Luckily for him, that's exactly our photography style.

Their big day was held at The Delamater House and and styled by Belles and Bowties and every detail was exquisite.  There was so much beautiful greenery and Whitney's bouquet had gorgeous florals that matched the greenery and adornments of the ceremony pergola (all  created  by Flowers at the House).  When the big barn doors opened and we all saw Whitney for the first time in her stunning gown,  our jaws dropped (as did Justin's).

The reception that followed was a hoot. Whitney and Justin couldn't keep their hands (and lips) off of each other all night.  We loved watching their love and their giggles.  Towards the end of the night, the crew had a flip cup game that had some pretty fierce contenders.   At this point, we saw a whole new side to Whitney! Her competitive side!  She was hilarious and we couldn't help but root her on (though I'm pretty sure her team lost each time...totally not her fault).

By the end of the night we declared Whitney and Justin our new best friends and Justin even admitted he didn't hate taking photos all day.  In fact, he really hammed it up most of the day (as you will see below).  Thanks so much for letting us in on your big day!  Enjoy the sneak peek!

We got to know Koren and Ty a little bit before their wedding, during their engagement session in Blue Springs.  We spent the evening roaming around the park and the two got into the cold water at the end, fully dressed, without flinching.  They were funny, completely in love, and a hoot.  We couldn't wait for their wedding.

Their big day was our first time at Floridian Manor Estate, and boy did  that place not disappoint. Everywhere we turned there was something new to look at.  I could photograph that place for  days!   Koren's bridesmaids were so sweet and attentive all day, and Ty's groomsmen were so funny and helpful.  The day was a total blast.   As each part of the wedding progressed, we moved to a new, beautiful area, and Koren and Ty were so good about going along with our photographic whims.  This sneak preview doesn't even begin to touch base on all the photos we got that day, but we hope you enjoy this slight glimpse into Koren and Ty's gorgeous wedding day,.

Mr. and Mrs. Barton - The Hammock Beach Resort, Palm Coast, FL

When I met Chelsea, Justin and Chelsea's Mom Beth for our initial consult, I immediately knew they were my kind of people.  They were organized, glowing when it came to talking about the wedding, and just super sweet, super genuine people. So when they chose us to shoot the big day, we were incredibly excited.

The two were my first February wedding,  a beautiful Saturday brunch wedding held over looking the beach.  It was my first time getting out to Hammock Beach and I absolutely loved it.  For our final consult, Chelsea and I explored (and maybe slightly trespassed) around the resort where the two would be married. Together we found some great spots and I got to hear all about Justin and Chelsea's love and relationship.

On the big day, everyone was so exited and emotional.  Chelsea did a reveal with not only dad, but her Grandma, and there wasn't a dry eye in the room.  The ceremony was short and sweet and though the wind was a little cold, all our hearts were warm. The reception included a delicious brunch from Hammock Beach and several heart felt speeches.  One of my personal favorite moments (photos below ) is the bouquet toss.  Everyone then danced the day away, and by early afternoon, after a beautiful bubble exit,  the couple were off to their honey moon!   Such an amazing day!  Thank you Mr and Mrs. Barton for letting us share it with you!!  Enjoy the sneak peek!

Mr. and Mrs. Cheek - The Delamater House, NSB, FL

Kalie and Derek live in Arizona, so we didn't get a chance to meet them until one day before their wedding.  Before meeting them we knew the following:

1.) Derek was a Marine
2.) Derek proposed to Kalie at the Grand Canyon
3.) Derek did a lot of other romantic things (that I won't tell you all about because you'll all nudge your husband like I did mine).
4.) They were both very well loved by their families and friends (27 person wedding party and 190 guests attending the wedding!)

So needless to say, I was super excited to shoot this wedding.  When I met them, they lived up to the hype.  They were sweet, and funny and gorgeous and soooooo in love.  On the big day, all the magic was happening.  Kalie looked stunning in her gown, and the tears were flowing all day. Derek, being a Marine, had a wedding filled with the armed forces, and I don't know if you guys know anyone in US Military, but no one parties like they do.   We laughed, we cried, we cheered,  this was truly the perfect wedding.  Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Cheek for letting us be such a special part of your big day!  Enjoy the sneak peek!

The Wicker Lemonade stand - NSB, FL

You'll see a lot of this beautiful family on here.  I've known Sara and Jeremy since high school (NSBHS Barracudas, what what!), and have watched them go from friends, to high school sweethearts, to a married couple, to parents, to celebrating their ten year wedding anniversary.  They are the kind of love story little girls dream of.

SO Jeremy messages me earlier this month and says "Jen, Sara really wanted a lemonade stand to do a shoot with. So I'm going to make a lemonade stand and surprise her with a shoot."  Ten instant husband points.  Sara was super excited when she saw the lemonade stand and knew I was coming. The session was great and Sara's concept came to life beautifully.  I can't wait to see what Sara does with the stand next.

Mr. and Mrs. Filz - The Delamater House, New Smyrna Beach

It's a new year, a new wedding season, and what better way to start the new year than to bring back our blog!!  And we swear this year we will be better about updating this!

Our first wedding of our 2018 season was spent at our home away from home, The Delamater House.  Katelyn and Michael are total adventurers.  They are outdoor people who love to explore. In fact, Michael proposed to Katelyn on a backpacking trip on Blood Mountain.   While they now reside in Jacksonville, New smyrna will always hold a soft spot, as that's where their first date was held (at treats on the beach on Flagler ave!).  So their wedding was held in NSB at the beautiful Delamater House.

Coordinated by Belles and Bowties,  Katelyn and Michael's wedding was beautifully dressed with candles, farm tables, rustic accents and lots of greenery.  Naturally, their thank you gift to guests was a make-your-own trail mix bar, where guests made their mix in adorable mason jars to take home and enjoy.

And now without any further adieu, Mr. and Mrs. Filz' wedding day!  Hope you all enjoy the sneak peek!

The Mesmer Family - Disney Session: Epcot

The Mesmer family is a family after my own heart.  Even though they don't live in Florida, they still make plenty of time in their schedule for Disney each year.   Last year we did their family session at Magic Kingdom and celebrated Lacie's 1st birthday!  This time around we explored Epcot and grandma and grandpa even got to join in on the fun.  And I don't know how they do it, but I swear this family gets even better looking every time I see them.  Plus Keli's hair is always so magical! Thank you Mesmer family for another great session!  Enjoy the preview!

Mike Proposes to Autumn - Smyrna Dunes, NSB, FL

I've been photographing this beautiful little family for the last few years. Autumn happens to also be a photographer, so this year we decided to trade family sessions.  Well Mike called me a few days prior and let me know his big plans to propose.  I immediately got excited.  We toured around Smyrna Dunes and once we got to the rocks, Mike took a knee.  It was such a beautiful moment and Autumn was totally surprised!  Congrats love birds!!!
