Here at Oh So Sweet Studios we absolutely love, love, love small weddings. It's a great chance for us to really get to know our couple, without all the commotion around us. Garrett and Emily decided to have their special day be a quaint destination wedding in New Smyrna Beach. Celebrated by close friends and family, the two rented a beach house and said their I do's right on our beautiful beach. Emily's unique dress has everyone swooning! This sweet wedding was shot by only one photographer, Oh So Sweet's Pete!
Everyone says that a little rain on your wedding day is good luck. Well these two must be the luckiest duo EVER! With monsoon like condition this beautiful couple experienced a pretty amazing day minus getting a bit damp. While Pete was with boys getting ready at the beach house, Hannah and myself had a super fun time getting ready with the ladies at the Delamater House. When the downpour officially started, some began getting worried, but we were determined to not let this ruin our's or the wonderful couple's big day! With some quick thinking, before you know it the ceremony was relocated to a much drier location and went off without a hitch! Oh did I mention that the beautiful bride is also one of Pete's and I's long time friends and we couldn't be happier to be a part of such of once and a lifetime experience! We love you Zach and Tina! Thank you for being such troopers!
This was such a fun session. Anytime we get to trek through Smyrna Dunes park we are pretty happy. It's absolutely beautiful. Getting to walk around the park with Katherine and Russell made it even better. They were not only absolutely in love, but such a fun couple to hang out and talk with. Thanks for such a great session love birds! Enjoy the sneak peek!
Tis the season of love! These two love birds had a lovely vacation in Daytona Beach and the future Groom's mother booked them a surprise Engagement session! Congratulations Shane and Ale!
These two love birds tied the knot on a beautiful New Smyrna Beach day. The tide was at it's peak high, but we made room through the washed up seaweed for the two to join hands. After the ceremony everyone celebrated at Outrigger's on the inter coastal. The sunset was gorgeous, the scenery was breath taking, the family and friends were a hoot, and the bride and groom were absolutely smitten over each other. This was truly a perfect wedding day! Congratulations Mr and Mrs Levering! Enjoy the sneak peek!
The skies were looking grey and for a second there we almost thought we'd be rained out, BUT the evening turned out beautiful for this golden hour session. We hung out on the beach and let this family filled with fun personalities shine. Thanks for a great session! Enjoy the sneak peek!
This awesome family came all the way from Canada. After several days in Orlando visiting the park, it was time to visit the beach, soak up some sun and relax. Jeanette and her husband were married in this very spot several years ago. How appropriate to come back, with her cousin and her family, for a fun visit and photo session. Thanks for a great session! Enjoy the sneak peek!
For the past couple of years I've had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful family every memorial day weekend. In the past, we've always photographed at the Black Dolphin, as members of their family owns it, but this year they bought a beach house, so instead we had the session right on the beach in front of their new home away from home. This year the three kiddos were much mire active than the past, so we got to have a lot more fun. Thanks again for a great session! See you all next year!
I adored these two the moment they walked into the canal creamery for our first consult. Not only are they absolutely gorgeous, but the way they look at each other is awe inspiring. Beyond that their so personable and fun, and that all came out during their engagement session. We roamed around Smyrna Dunes Park, took in the sites and let the two goof around. They brought their AMAZING tandem yellow bike (which we quickly got in trouble for. Apparently no bikes on the boardwalk...boooo) and I must mention, they had a pretty impressive hand stand stand-off, which Christina not only won, but graciously landed into a perfect bridge dismount.
Needless to say there wasn't a dull moment in this session. But we will let the photos do the talking.
They say when i rains on your wedding day it's good luck. However, it sure doesn't feel like good luck when your entire wedding is outdoors. But when you have a beautiful venue who is great with handling last minute changes and rainstorms, all that really matters is that you have your loved ones surrounding you as you marry the love of your life. Georgia and Kyle had all of this. The loved ones, the beautiful venue, their soul mate and plenty of rain. Georgia and the girls got ready at Georgia's parents house. A beautiful ranch style home with lots to look at. The boys spent their time getting ready at Rodeo Lakes, holding down the fort. Though it rained for the ceremony and most of the reception, the skies managed to clear just long enough for some family, wedding party and bride and groom photos. All in all, it was a gorgeous and quite exciting day. Thanks Mr and Mrs Steele for letting us be apart of your big day!
